Like the amount of buttons on it that are customizable and has plenty of neat features not seen on any other mice.

Tons of Features

Love the mouse. It's very ergonomic to start. I do like the tilt feature but it's honestly not as easy to use and very fluent in games like R6S and other games with leaning mechanics. It took a minute to get used to having used a G502 for the last 5 years it was definitely a change up but not something I regret

The only thing I don't care for, and maybe I'm not using it right, but it is the extra tilt movement I get even without the gyro attachment. Otherwise, it is a very welt built mouse and has a plethora of functions. Thought I wouldn't recommend it to my friends if they were just starting to get into PC.. or MnK gaming.

Very comfortable has many uses to

Great mouse!

The mouse is great for both gaming and work (OBS, Photoshop, etc). It may be a little bit on the heavier side but that is the only problem. its also ergonomic, so your wrists and hands dont hurt after longer use. Great mouse, from a great company.

Game Changer Literally

Light, smooth and with an easy glide the mouse feels good to game with. The additional buttons on the top really work in Destiny 2 as quick access to gun swap and reload and overall my K/D has improved as a result. I am still re-teaching my muscle memory away from Logitech G series mice which I have used fore the past 20 years but as it improves so does my ability to pull a kill faster than the other guys. Love this mouse and can't wait to see what else you come up with. p.s. The windows software is actually really good and very easy to use.

Fantastic mouse

The mouse is amazing and combine with ceramic mouse feet and glass mouse pad I don't think it can be beet

AMAZING!.. most of the time..

The feel, the program and the function is all amazing, but in some programs and games the mouse just won't work as a mouse or joystick. There are a few workarounds for some of these problems but not all of them

Amazing

Pure quality in any aspect I think there is nothing more for even most demanding users no matter what is the purpose of using this mice.

3rd version I have

I originall go the Z and loved it, I was always a G502 mouse user. I switched to the Z and loved it. I had the middle mouse button issue and with the online guide fixed it myself. I bought the Tracer when it went on sale as a back up as I thought they wouldn't be making anymore Z mice. When I saw the kickstarter for the Z2 I wanted to get it but my Tracer was still working. I ended up ordering the Z2 anyway and after a few minor issues I have been using it falwlessly. I packed up the Tracer and it will be my backup if anything should go wrong with my Z2.

The Swiftpoint team are tops and very helpful. I would not and have not hesitated in recommending them to friends.

Not compatible

Hi there- I purchased the USB plug that is supposed to work with the Swiftpoint mouse because I lost the previously attached USB plug. The new USB plug does not work with my mouse, so it seems like a poor purchase.

Hi Daniel,

Sorry to hear about the issues you are having with the USB receiver and the confusion regarding the compatibilty.

Just wanted to acknowledge this review and let you know that our support team will be in contact shortly.

Cheers

Very weak wheel tactility.

I love everything about the idea of the mouse but haven't even been able to try it out because of the free spinning wheel with very little mechanical feedback.

Hi Bryan,

The Swiftpoint Z2s scroll-wheel has not been designed to be free-scroll. It is a notched tacticle scroll-wheel.

It sounds like your scroll-wheel is broken. So please contact us ASAP on support@swiftpoint.com so that we can look into the issue further and ultimately get a replacement unit sent out to you.

Cheers
Swiftpoint.

Brilliant idea but it just doesn't fit me!

Don't let the number of stars throw you off. I think this mouse is a fantastic idea and I really really wish it had worked out for me. But, after struggling for several weeks, I just could not get it to fit my hand comfortably and had to move on to something else.
I like a mouse grip where my middle finger can rest on the scroll wheel. The layout of the Swiftpoint was too narrow to accommodate that. When I let go of that notion and put my middle finger on the right click, I could not find a comfortable way to access the scroll wheel for middle clicking or scrolling.
Again - brilliant ideas, from the gyro sensor to the click strength sensitivity - but it's just not for me.

Excellent MMO and General Gaming Mouse

One of the best mice I’ve ever used. Well designed and worth the wait. Easily and powerfully configurable, with the level of complexity applied up to the user. Ergonomic too, much better than previous 12 button mmo mice.

A Revolutionary Gem, with a Flaw

Not many things should be called "revolutionary," but the Z2 absolutely is and it challenges the conventional way we think of macros. The gyroscope and button combinations offer such outside the box solutions things as simple as opening the clipboard or switching workspaces with the tilt of my hand, to complex FPS button schemes or RTS/TBS games. My only gripes are the unfortunate lack of bump buttons on the scroll wheel a lot of mouse have these days, and the ergo of the mouse for when you're claw gripping for super minute control of the cursor. Just shy of perfect!

Overhyped imo

Im probably going to get hate for this one but here goes.
The good
Mouse feels high quality
Has lots of features albeit niche.

The bad
Price is an issue considering most of the features on this mouse are gimmicky.
The ergonomics suck. I dont have a better way of putting it.
The "knuckle" buttons fall off frequently.
The lack of an unlockable scroll wheel is a huge deal breaker for me. (This is more personal preference)

All im saying is
For the price you can get a g502 lightspeed and still have money to spare.

This review is not a bash in any sense. I just see room for improvement and i hope the engineers do too. A wireless charging pad and lack of a mouse cord would be amazing too. I would gladly pay double for this mouse if it had all these issues addressed.. the biggest one for me is still ergonomics though. I hate it when it feels uncomfortable holding a mouse especially in multiplayer fps games.

Hi Jerry,

Sounds like you are experiencing a problem with your trigger buttons/caps (knuckle buttons) or they haven't been inserted properly.

It also sounds like the Swiftpoint Z2 isn't the mouse for you. So please contact us on support@swiftpoint.com to arrange a return for a refund.

Top teir

I've previously used the Swiftpoint z for a long time and it has always been perfect for what i need it for and with the new updated and upgraded version in the Swiftpoint z2 it shall continue to do so. Slight hiccup when i first received it though, it had failed its first update and stopped working but within a day after reaching out to the support team they provided me with a very easy to understand guide on how to fix it and was working again in no time so THANK YOU SO MUCH whoever that was that helped me super appreciate it, Great fn mouse!!!:)

Hands down the best mouse ever made

I'm the type of gamer who likes a few extra buttons on my mouse. I mostly play fast-paced shooters where every millisecond counts and having extra buttons at your fingertips can give you the edge to win a fight.

But it's not enough to just have some extra buttons. Lots of other mice have extra buttons, some even have more than the Swiftpoint Z2. What makes the Swiftpoint mouse stand out is the ergonomic design that puts those extra buttons in the right places. The extra fingertip buttons and the knuckle buttons are placed in the most intuitive positions under your index and middle fingers.

The Swiftpoint mouse is designed to suit your hand in a way unlike any other mouse. It's so powerful, yet easy to use. It's always a great feeling when things just work.

Search no more…

After all the major‘s flagships proved to fail, I’ve finally found the Z2 with enough capabilities to tweak everything at hand while maintaining intuition even in more complex environments.

Great Mouse, Faulty Software

The X1 control panel constantly crashes after i make a new macro in expert mode or if i dare to choose to run a tilt calibration it makes the mouse stutter and no amount of tweaking settinsg fixes the issue as its a driver error that occurs and i have to reset the mouse and reinstall X1CP.

The mouse itself feels great and all the extra buttons work great just a shame the software is so flakey. Sadly so many great features are locked behind the expert mode of the X1 that it does hurt the product overall. Oh and it also has difficulty swapping modes when i set it to run froma games exe and back to desktop because I tab windows a lot i'd prefer it know when i switch windows and when i close a game to go back to default rather than take a lot of time to realise ive closed the game and am using desktop again.

I love it

I have and used the Z1 version for some years and I had to change it because of the scroll wheel was starting to skip and it was useless. I've tried a Logitech after but the feeling is not the same. Now I have the Z2 version and I love it. I'm using it for day to day job activities as a software developer and for gaming. So far I didn't find anything not to like.

Using for radiology reporting

I use this mouse for radiology reporting. Every keyboard shortcut necessary is built into the mouse. Most radiologists report holding a dictaphone, a mouse and having to use a keyboard at the same time. On quick count about 24 separate functions that I use daily for reporting are built into the mouse. I probably missed some. Bought this to replace a Roccat Tyon. Definitely an upgrade given I had maxed out all the options available to me on that mouse.

This is always my go to mouse.

Love this mouse. My only issue with the older versions was the rubber thumb guards would un glue over a short period of time. They have seem to fix this issue on this one.
