Overall i think its one of the best I ever had but I dont like that you need the programm to autostart that the mouse gets in the programmed mode or im making something wrong but i dont habe the time to read in to it. None the less would buy again.
The Swiftpoint Z series mice are my favorite out if any brand, and it's not even close. Its packed with features, and the software supports lots of great options, and massive profile customizations per app. If you dont like heavy mice, this is not for you. Personally, I enjoy the trade-off for the extra features.
Got it specifically because it would be nice for War Thunder and other games. Been great so far!
I've had this mouse for just over 7 weeks now. Having owned possibly 12 or more different mice over my lifetime, I have to say that so far, this is the best mouse I've ever used as a creator.
With this mouse, you have many buttons (13) where two of the buttons are capable of being "pulled" as well as being pressed. The mouse also records click strength on certain buttons allowing the ability to use what Swiftpoint calls "Deep Click".
Deep Click allows you to map a function at various strength positions to the buttons that support it. Imagine a function at 25%, 50% and 75% click strength on a single button. For example, I have a button set to "copy" if pressed normally and when deep-clicked, the same button will invoke a "paste" operation.
You can create a unique profile for each of your applications and the mouse software will load the associated profile when the application is launched. This mouse also has haptic feedback capability in case you need to "feel" certain functions. The box includes various button caps to suit your hand.
I recently sold my console and bought me a full top of line Alienware set up and saw the ability to use the mouse to lean. Since ownership I have had zero issues or complaints with this function with the mouse. At first I thought the feel of the mouse was inadequate or cheap, but after a month of using this mouse, I realized it’s not there is a lot of different functions, and just the ability of tilt lean is incomparable to any other mouse in the market. 100% recommend this mouse to any true FPS gamers.
Swapping over from a razor mouse, the first noticeable difference is the shape feels a little intrusive, I love all the accessories to the buttons and the functionality, but the area for your two unused fingers to sit on the right side feels unrefined and made my hand cramp quite a bit in the adjustment period, although I got used to it, I would love to see refinement, thanks!
I love my swiftpoint. I wanted to have the most customizable mouse to use for gaming and productivity. Fits my palm perfectly and can activate most of the buttons with very little issues.
Probably the best mouse I have ever used in terms of functionality. Would be even better if this was wireless and more ergonomic, but the functionality and convenience more than makes up for it.
The mouse is great. button mapping and switching it up between games and photo shop is excellent, really enjoying the mouse. very efficient and button mapping, I definitely would love a wireless version for sure!
My only issue is the side rubber grip seems that the glue is melted and slides slightly off
I haven't seen any other issues than the software taking a second upon computer boot up to register my preset DPI settings. Kinda annoying, nearly perfect otherwise.
I'm an MMO mouse user but I wanted something more compact. The software is the best of any mouse I've had.
Good product and support. My mouse wheel broke and they sent me a new mouse altogether.
Love the feel of all the buttons, great software and is super customizable and easy to use.
Even though it seems like a gimmick, it is actually really useful.
It's also really nice to have a well-built mouse that isn't going to just fall apart.
It is genuinely worth the money.
First time buying a high end mouse and it is amazing. The ability to have a multitude of profiles set up for different games is amazing. And there are so many options and changes you can make to dial in the mouse to perfectly suit anything you are trying to do! Absolutely worth the money!
I had pains on my shoulders and back on my right side for the longest time. I realize I was straining my arm and could feel the weight of my mouse which I use for daily work. Using the Padpoint is such a breeze literally, it feels so light and natural to handle. I’m not gonna go back to ordinary mouse anymore. The after sales service is excellent too!
I had one of the original mice when they were first introduced and used it for years, I use a mouse mainly for fine grain movement and swiftpoint excels at facilitating that being very natural and intuitive to use. I only replaced it because it was taken.
The replacement Tracpoint is identical though my muscle memory tells me its different. For those that are use to the original, the middle finger rest area is more curved, resulting in the middle finger resting either further back or forward (avoiding the middle section that bows outward). Resting further back is less natural (to me) while resting further forward result in the middle finger pushing against the scroll knob (I'd rather not know its there till I need it).
Have no trust or confidence in the shipping company. But definitely rate the product.
